established in 1922, incorporated in 1950 irvona fire company is located in southern clearfield county and is assigned station 27. we currently have 30 active members, training status FF-1, rescue tech., hazmat operations, water rescue, rope rescue, boat rescue, dive, and forestry . training classes are held every month sept.-april and are bucks certified classes. apparatus includes 1-engine, 1-rescue(state certified), 1-engine/tanker, 1-truck(55' quint), 1-brush, 1-brush tanker, 1-hazmat/water rescue trailer.
